Box, Inc. and software giant Adobe are joining forces to bring creative AI tools to Box’s millions of enterprise users. Starting today, the Adobe Express app will be generally available as the default image editor on all Box enterprise accounts, enabling Box users to create content without leaving the secure Box platform, a huge plus security for enterprise users.
Adobe Express is an easy-to-use application that brings creative tools to almost anyone’s reach. Powered by Adobe Firefly’s generative AI, the Adobe Express app is a secure and easy way for businesses to deploy creative AI tools.
Box users will be able to create graphic and video content quickly and easily. Marketers can use the app to edit images for a marketing campaign, while HR teams can use it to customize their training content. Sales teams can leverage the app to create high-impact content for a sales pitch, all without leaving Box’s secure platform.
Adobe Express can instantly crop and resize images, apply filters and adjust sharpness, and remove distracting objects and backgrounds from a photo. Other useful features include the ability to add or replace objects and people, plus there’s a simple text prompt for Firefly-powered features. Content can be automatically and securely saved within Box, keeping creative projects safe.
Box and Adobe are also developing workflows that will give users even more tools, including the ability to generate new images with Adobe Express and Firefly AI simply by outlining a visual or using reference images and then adjust style, size and format. Adobe Express can also edit video files within Box with tools such as trimming, converting to GIF, and adding subtitles.
“As enterprises increase the amount of content they’re creating, Box is using AI in our secure ecosystem to drive collaboration, reduce content proliferation and manage risk,” said Aaron Levie, CEO of Box. “We’re excited to partner with Adobe Express to enhance what we can offer with the world’s best creative tools and AI that’s commercially safe. Box users can now view, edit and manage their PDF files with Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat Reader. Box can also access files from Adobe Marketo while synchronizing files between Adobe Workfront and Box using apps in the Box App Center.
Other users are already using Box to manage and store their creative content created with software like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and other tools in Adobe Creative Cloud.
